N. Trinajstic has published 11 books,

125 technical papers, 150 essays and book reviews.
EDUCATION: Faculty of Technology, Zagreb, (1960), and MSc (1966), DSc (1967) at Faculty of Science Zagreb. Predoctoral studies at Universities of Sheffield and Sussex(1964-1966) and postdoctoral studies at University of Texas in Austin (1968-1970).
CAREER: research associate (1967), senior research assoc. (1971) and senior scientist (since 1977) at Rugjer Boskovic Institute, Zagreb; asst. prof. (1970), assoc. prof. (1973) and full prof. (since 1977) at Faculty of Science in Zagreb. Visiting prof. at about 15 universities in Europe, America and Asia.
