The coat of arms of Gradište is gules a fleur-de-lis fleury and in chef two gourds or with double wattle sable. The flag is yellow with the coat of arms in the middle. Unlike the usual custom that it is of the same colour, the ceremonial flag is a blue gonfalon with three triangularly ending tails, the middle one being longer, with the coat of arms in the middle, the name of the community in two arched lines above and three oak branches ornaments in the tails.
The coat of arms of Gradište adopted in 1993 is described so: "[it] is in a shield shape, in ratio of width and height 1:1.25. It is divided horizontally in two fields with a line contoure of the Gradište hill - the most important relief feature of the teritory. In the top blue field, on the contoure it is standing a chapel and to its left four stations of the Cross, symbolizing the sacral gropu of buildings - so called Kalvarija - unique and dominant characteristic of Gradište. The location of the _Danica_ star [Morning star] (coloured yellow) - an ohter important issue of our nationality - in the COA matches that in reality. The lower field of the shield is in fact a segment of the historical Croatian arms - the cheques. In the top white field - belowe the small church - a gourd, recounts in a tighter sence on the colouring of gourds - the original gradište art, but also on the inclination of the citizens to ennoble thier everyday lifes. In the lower white field in contoures - the drawing of a marten - also a detail from the state arms, as a sign of affiliation to Slavonia. The entire shield is edged with a yellow border. Above the shield is a ribbon with the name of the place. The ribbon is blue and the letters are white, 'Bold' in type."
The flag was yellow vertical flag with two stripes near the dexter edge (1+2+1+2+14) and the coat of arms set in the top half of the sinister yellow field. "The two blue stripes are the two rivers of the region - Bosut and Berava, at the west of the community territory and the yellow stripes represent the corn fields, in fact the main activity of the inhabitants - the agriculture."
