The FAME is a site devoted to the systematic and scientific study of flags and coats of arms. Such symbols often bear strong political and other messages. Inclusion of those symbols here does not mean that the author supports or approves of the ideas they may stand for. |

The community uses a logo instead of a coat of arms. The logo consists of a green rectangle containing a black disk with three black stripes protruding from it, downwards and to the each top corner and contining in the middle a white representation of the monumet to the victims of the World War II. The monument stands in the middle of the city at the crossroads (symbolized with black stripes) and is performed by the most important Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. Above the rectangle there is a white panel inscribed ČRNA and below KOROŠKA. The flag is vertical light green with the logo contered in the lower half.

The coat of arms of the municipality of Črnomelj is the coat of arms of the city of Črnomelj, picturing the city tower from the civic seal of 1587. The black field of the arms alludes to the name (črn = black). The flag is green-white-green triband with the coat of arms in the middle reaching to the half of each green stripe. The symbols were adopted 1992 and readopted 1996.

The community of Destrnik is formed in 1998 by division of the community Destrnik-Trnovska vas, itself formed in 1995. The flag and the coat of arms are presented publicly for the first time on the Community Day on 4th July 1999. The coat of arms is or on a green base a village argent roofed gules where the church of St. Urban is dominating. The flag is yellow and green bicolour with the coat of arms in the yellow stripe near the hoist. The vertical version of the flag has the coat of arms centered in the flag and properly rotated.

The new 1999 Statute of the Community of Divača provides for an emblem (but not a coat of arms) of the community, and the flag. The emblem shows a photo of a typical rural house in an oval and below the name of the community in wine red in two rows divided with a green line. The house shown is a cultural monument named Škrateljnova hiša from 17th century, but is also known as being the birth house of the world famous Slovenian film actress Ita Rina (Ida Kravanja). The emblem is set in the base of a light gray flag with a thin green stripe along the edge. The flag is used apparently in various ratios, beside the prescribed one.

In the green field there is an oak branch with two golden leaves and a red acorn on which is sitting a silver nightingale singing and above a golden sun. The flag is green with two white vertical stripes forming a square field in the middle containing the charges from the coat of arms.

The coat of arms is vertically divided by a silver ribbon, dexter in green a golden wheat stalk with 24 grains and two leaves, sinister in blue a golden church bell. The flag is based on the part of the coat of arms, vertically divided blue-yellow (9:11), with the golden bell in the blue filed.

The coat of arms is in a blue field on a white fimbriated green double mount a golden bowl sprinkling water and in base two golden oak leaves in saltire. The flag is blue with two vertical yellow stripes forming a square field in the middle containing the bowl sprinkling water from the coat of arms.

Until the adoption of the new coat of arms, the Community of Dobrna was using this coat of arms that is probably the historical coat of arms of the town of Dobrna.

The coat of arms is Or bordered along flanks Azure issuant from base an Oak Twig Sable with two Acorns Gules slipped and cupped of the third and two leaves Vert and in chief an quatrefoil Argent barbed Vert and seeded of the first.
The flag is rectangular in overall ratio 2:5 vertically divided in two fields, yellow square at hoist and green fly. In the hoist square are attributes from the coat of arms, the twig and flower.
The two floral elements represent the two parts of the communities. The oak in reference to Dobrova (the name having old Slavic word dob meaning oak). The flower in the chief is Blagajev Volčin (Daphne Blagayana) discovered in 18th century in Polhov Gradec. The two blue borders represent two local streams.
The current Community of Dobrova-Polhov Gradec seceded from the former Community of Vič-Rudnik that was one of communities forming the city of Ljubljana until 1995. When seceded in 1995 it took name Dobrova-Horjul-Polhov Gradec, but the territory of Horjul seceded again in 1998 to form a separate community.

The coat of arms is tierced per pale azure, argent and vert, overall a triple mount fesswise above a filet and a fritillary flower inverted all or. The colours blue and green are chosen for the to represent both Slovenians and Hungarians living there (the two differential colours from the national flags). The triple low hills are characteristic horizon of the region, appearing also in historical seals from 13th century. The golden line stands for the fruitful fields. The fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris L., Slov. močvirska logavica/močvirski tulipan) is protected species found in the community (also used in various forms by several other Slovenian communities). The flag is based on the colours of the coat of arms, i.e. the blue for Slovenians and green for Hungarians, with the coat of arms. The flag is tricolour of blue over white over green with the coat of arms off-set to hoist in the second fourth of the flag.

The flag was originally proposed in the ratio 1:3 with the central stripe of teh double width and the coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms of Dolenjske Toplice is in semicircular shield shape, with charges symbolizing woods and thermal waters - a disk for green-leaf woods, triangle for evergreen woods and five drops for the thermal spas.
The flag is vertically divided in two fields, light green over light blue the first being double the width of the second. The attribute from teh coat of arms bordered with golden is set into it near the hoist. The vertical version is somewhat adapted of the same basic design.
