Once again I am looking forward to welcoming you, hoping that this year's participation in the International Summer School "UPBEAT" will contribute to your professional growth. I also hope that you will spend an unforgettable summer here in Croatia, together with your family and friends.

In the course of the past twenty years of our shared summer activities, many generations of young musicians have been inspired by the natural beauties of the islands of Hvar and Korcula. This year we are in Milna on the island Brac.

This year's selection of lecturers and projects is richer than ever.

Our "old" participants know that I'm available 24 hours a day and I'll be happy to help with pedagogical advice, as well as address any questions concerning accommodation, travel arrangements or personal needs.
