about me ...
My name is Saša Riemann. I have graduated a few years
ago at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering
and Computing, University of Zagreb (Croatia).
Every since then I have been working in Ericsson company
on software design. I am very interesting in the stereoscopy, especially
in applications of the stereoscopy in the computer science. At the moment
I act as an ISU country
reprensetative for Croatia. The picture on
the right is taken in Dubrovnik (actually, on the hill above the town),
one of the most beautiful places in Croatia.
This
one (probably on the left in your browser) was taken more than 20 years
ago. The man who holds the camera is my father. My mother and me are behind.
I'm the little one on the right with a bow... But things have slightly
changed from that time. Now I am more interested in the stereoscopy,
virtual reality, computers, transputers, Linux, Theory of relativity, electromagnetic
waves, ... let's stop here. Because our life is simply not long enough
for everything we are interesting in. Is it?
The picture on the right is taken in Milano. I like traveling, but only
if it is comfortable. Walking in the nature, especially mountaineering
is my favorite recreation. And I think it goes hand in hand with the photography.
Some of my best pictures I made on mountaineering or on my holidays
in the Croatian's coast. We have got really fantastic coast with more than
a thousand islands. Beside that, I like ice-skating and cycling. I used
to play football and ice hockey very much.
On
the left picture I hold my friend's stereo camera. The picture is taken
in Germany during the 12th ISU World Congress in September '99. I have
presented there my stereoscopic system that is also described here.
That's all for now. Hope you like my informal way of
introducing myself. Please, come back to this page later. I'll put some
new information about stereoscopy, transputers, Croatia
or myself.
bye
Saša
